Middle school is a time of intense development for our students as they continue to grow personally, academically, and in their faith.

Academics & Enrichment

Middle School features a departmentalized teaching staff that enables students to exercise their growing independence and learn to navigate different teaching styles in their interactions with a variety of teachers each day. All courses continue to develop essential skills such as engagement and participation, collaboration, and organization. Independent and group projects, class presentations, practicing time management, and preparing for exams help to ensure that our students are ready for the rigors of high school. Middle School Math offers a grade-level and an accelerated course, allowing students to approach Math in an environment that meets them where they are. Science courses include Earth, Life, and Physical Sciences and offer opportunities for hands-on learning, including the participation in a Science Fair. Service to others comes to the forefront in our Religion courses as students are required to participate in a variety of service opportunities. Students continue to participate in Spanish, P.E., and Art classes each week. Beyond the classroom, Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in MND extra-curricular sports teams and further develop their leadership skills through Student Council.
